Tidy Clean stores the cleaning tasks and household information you put into it, so it can sync between your devices and the people you share your home with. We do not run ads, we do not track you, we do not use analytics services, and we never sell your information. You can delete your account and your data from inside the app at any time.1. Who we are
Tidy Clean ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Usama Adnan, located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].2. Information we collect
2.1 Account information
An anonymous account identifier. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account for you automatically so your data can be saved. This is a random identifier — it does not contain your name or email.
If you choose to sign in with Apple: your name and email address, as provided by Apple. Apple allows you to hide your real email address and share a private relay address instead; if you do, we only ever receive the relay address.
If you choose to sign in with Google: your name, email address, and basic profile information, as provided by Google.
Signing in is optional. You can use the app without ever creating a named account.2.2 Household information you create
This is the content you enter into the app:Your household's name
Names of household members
Profile photos, if you choose to add them
Rooms you add
Cleaning tasks, including any notes you write on them
Your cleaning history — which tasks were completed, when, and by which member
Your onboarding answers (such as how much time you have per day), used to build your schedule
2.3 Purchase information
If you buy a subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple. We never see or store your payment card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active; RevenueCat receives your purchase information and technical identifiers (such as a device identifier and IP address) in order to do this.2.4 What we do not collect
No advertising identifiers, and no advertising
No third-party analytics or tracking services
No location data
No contacts, photos library access beyond a photo you deliberately pick, or microphone access
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Their content is not sent to us.3. How we use your information
To provide the app: storing your rooms, tasks, and history and building your daily plan
To sync your data across your devices
To share a household with the people you invite
To check whether your subscription is active
To respond to you if you contact support
We do not use your information for advertising or profiling, and we do not make automated decisions about you.4. Sharing a household with other people
Tidy Clean is designed to be shared with the adults you live with. This matters for your privacy, so please read this section carefully.When you invite someone to your household — or join someone else's using an invite code — the members of that household can see each other's member names, profile photos, rooms, tasks, task notes, and the history of who completed what and when.Only people who have your household's invite code can join your household. If you leave or delete your account, your access ends, but content already shared with the household may remain visible to its other members.5. Service providers
We use a small number of companies to run the app. They process data on our behalf:
6. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Supabase's servers in Oregon, United States. If you are located outside that region, your information will be transferred to and stored there.7. How long we keep your data, and how to delete it
We keep your information for as long as your account exists.You can delete your account at any time from inside the app: Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and erases your rooms, tasks, and history from your device and from our servers. If you are the only member of your household, the household and its contents are deleted as well. If other people are still members of that household, the household remains for them.Please note: deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple and must be cancelled separately in your Apple account settings.8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.If you are in Canada, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.9. Security
Data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Our database uses row-level security rules so that only members of a household can read that household's information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.10. Children
Tidy Clean is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.12. Contact us

Tidy Clean

Last updated: July 16, 2026The short version. Tidy Clean helps you organise and share household cleaning tasks. Use it reasonably and don't abuse it. Subscriptions are optional, billed by Apple, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. You own the content you enter, and you can delete your account and data from inside the app at any time.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Usama Adnan ("we", "us"), located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, covering your use of the Tidy Clean mobile application ("the app").By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.2. Who may use the app
Tidy Clean is intended for adults. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app, and if you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have your parent or guardian's permission.3. Your account
When you first open the app, an anonymous account is created automatically so your data can be saved. You may optionally sign in with Apple or Google to secure your account and keep your data if you change devices.You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your device and sign-in method secure.4. Households and shared content
Tidy Clean lets you share a household with other adults using an invite code. Anyone who has your invite code can join your household. Members of a household can see each other's member names, profile photos, rooms, tasks, task notes, and the history of who completed what.Only share your invite code with people you trust. You are responsible for who you invite. If you leave a household or delete your account, content you already shared may remain visible to the household's remaining members.5. Subscriptions and billing
5.1 Plans
Tidy Clean offers an optional paid subscription:
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may vary by region and over time. The price shown at the time of purchase is the price that applies.5.2 Free trial
New subscribers may be offered a 3-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you will be charged. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple.5.3 Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.5.4 Payment, cancellation, and refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, not by us. We never receive your payment card details.To cancel: open your device's Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions → Tidy Clean → Cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We are generally not able to issue refunds directly.
Important: deleting your Tidy Clean account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through Apple separately.6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:Use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone
Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that is offensive or illegal
Attempt to access other people's households or data without permission
Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attempt to break the app or our servers
Use the app to build a competing product
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.7. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you enter into the app — your rooms, tasks, notes, photos, and history. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content in order to operate the app for you and the household members you share it with.We do not sell your content, and we do not use it for advertising.8. Changes to the app
We may add, change, or remove features over time, and we may update or discontinue the app. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but we are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.9. Ending your use
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete Account). This permanently deletes your account and erases your rooms, tasks, and history from your device and our servers. If you are the only member of your household, the household and its contents are deleted too.We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law.10. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Tidy Clean is a household organisation tool — please keep your own copies of anything important to you.11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the app.To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) CAD $50.Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law.12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Ontario, Canada will have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.13. Apple
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.15. Contact us
